🏈The Host
ready for draft nightThe Host runs the night so you can be in the room. The board goes on the TV: big bids, SOLD banners, roast lines. Phones handle the quiet parts: your max-bid math, your roster, a sneaky bid, the trash talk. Whoever can't make it can still join from three time zones away, but the point is the room.
I built it for our fantasy football auction draft first, because I ran that one by hand for years: five-plus hours as auctioneer, accountant, and league historian, with everyone yelling at me. It's not really about fantasy football. It's about getting people together and giving them something to argue over, with a report afterward that names names.

BookBinds is a fact-checked atlas of who's bound to whom in the books people love: blood, marriage, romance, enmity, mentor and student, killed and victim. It comes as wall posters and a spoiler-safe interactive app, with a video series on the way that maps one book at a time.
On the interactive maps you pick the book you're on, and the map shows nothing past it. No characters you haven't met. No deaths you don't know about yet.

It started as a gift for Nora and Jane, who read faster than I can keep up and know these books cold. The first map had to be beautiful and it had to be right, because they'd catch any error instantly. They still do. They're the editors now.
How the catalog works: maps of fan-loved series like The Ties of Prythian (unofficial, not affiliated with any author or publisher) are free. The print shop opens this fall with worlds that belong to everyone, starting with Greek myth and moving through everything published before 1931. Custom one-offs of whatever series you love are available on request.
Every dataset is built by local models reading the source text, checked by a second adversarial pass, and signed off by a human who has read the book. The bonds are real or they don't ship.

By day I'm EVP and Partner at Revenue Rocket and one of the voices on Shoot the Moon. This site is the other half of the day.
Everything here started as a problem I kept having. I wanted a usage gauge, so Juicage. I wanted someone to tear into my drafts before I sent them, so Gauntlet. Two readers in this house wanted a character map, so BookBinds. I ran a draft by hand for years, so The Host. Most of it gets built with models running overnight and me deciding what's good enough to ship.
